INR Correction Kit consists of 20 Coumarin plasmas that are calibrated against WHO Primary Standards for Human Recombinant thromboplastin and Rabbit derived thromboplastin. This enables the user to re-calibrate a coagulometer to give a local ISI / MNPT, rather than using generic Laboratory derived values.
The user faxes/emails the clot times recieved of all 20 plasmas and Hart Biologicals will return a local ISI and MNPT.
The kit is invaluable if the clinic / Hospital is constantly out of concensus with quality control material.
