Factor V or proaccelerin/labile factor is a cofactor of the common pathway. Deficiency can lead to heamorrage.
Factor V deficient plasma is an immune depleted plasma that has been immunologically stripped of all of its factor V to give a level under 0.01iu/ml, whilst retaining normal levels of all other factors and fibrinogen.
