Factor VII or Proconvertin has a pivitol role in the coagulation cascade and is responsible for initiating the coagulation cascade along with tissue factor.
Factor VII is an immune depleted that has been stripped of all of its Factor VII to give a level of under 0.01 iu/ml, whilst retaining normal levels of all other factors and fibrinogen.
