A highly sensitive Assay Kit for the use in diagnosing different mutations of Von Willebrands Disease. Patient plasma is added to Formalin Fixed Platelets in the presence of Ristocetin and agglutination over a time period is measured.
The kit comprises of:
4 x 5ml Lyophilised Platelets
2 x 1ml Ristocetin 10mg/ml
2 x 25ml Tris-Buffered Saline
2 x 1ml Reference Plasma
2 x 0.5ml Abnormal QC control
