HEP-Con 1 may be used as a theraputic level control when using tests for the monitioring of unfractionated heparin. Hep-Con 1 is prepared from a pool of plasma from normal individuals and contains unfractionated heparin. The control plasma should be used to gauge internal factors in each laboratory's system.
